Halal foods: ‘Pak-China should cooperate’
Sharif said the demand for Halal food was increasing worldwide.

Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said on Tuesday that Pakistan had an important role to play in the international livestock market.
He was talking to a Chinese delegation associated with halal food and livestock industries led by Chinese Qinghai Group chairperson Wang Xihui. Sharif said the demand for Halal food was increasing worldwide. A slaughter house had been set up in Lahore where meat processing was carried out using modern methods. Xihui said his group wanted to promote cooperation in halal food and livestock sectors.
