Peerzada had allegedly established 35 fake companies worth Rs700 million with the help of a front man.
He has also confessed to using part of the funds to purchase air travel tickets for Makhdoom Amin Faheem and his family.
According to FIA’s investigation, the tickets alone are worth tens of millions of rupees.
The FIA has filed more than 65 lawsuits regarding the scandal.
Fraud in the freight subsidy scandal amounts to a total of Rs7 billion.
In September last year, the FIA also arrested the former Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) chairman Tariq Puri over alleged involvement in the trade subsidy scam.

Arrest and prosecute all who have stolen money of the State
For years we been hearing these news and don't have any meanings any more. There needs to be prosecutions and those who committed crime should pay for it. Otherwise don't publish these news just for mileage sake. Also, there has to be a review of FIA what they actually produce and what it quality of it beside sensational news.
