Dean of medicine of University of Karachi passes away after targeted attack.

KARACHI:
Dean of medicine of University of Karachi Dr Jawaid Iqbal Kazi was killed in a targeted attack on Monday afternoon, Express News reported.
Kazi's driver was also injured and is in critical condition with two bullet wounds.
The attack took place in Block M of North Nazimabad where the college campus is located. Four unidentified attackers on two motorcycles shot at his car as he left the college campus.
Kazi’s injured driver was taken to Abbasi Shaheed hospital.
The professor was first taken to the Ziauddin Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. His body was then transferred to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
Dr Jawaid Iqbal Kazi was also the the pathology department head at Karachi Medical and Dental College (KMDC).
