SUKKUR:

The body of a six-year-old girl, B, who had been missing for six days, was found floating in a pool of stagnant water near a petrol pump at the Larkana-Qamber road on Thursday evening.

She went missing from her home in village Tharo Dero situated in the Taluka police limits. Her uncle and grandfather, after failing to find her in the village, informed the Taluka police about the missing girl.

On Thursday evening, someone informed the police about a girl’s body and it was shifted to Chandka Medical College Hospital, Larkana for autopsy. According to the doctors, the girl was strangled to death but there was no evidence of sexual assault.

Upon hearing the news of her death, B’s mother fell unconscious and her aunt reportedly tried to commit suicide. B’s grandfather and uncle did not nominate anybody in the murder, saying they do not have enmity with anybody. No FIR has been registered  yet.

B is the sixth child to be killed in Larkana in the last six months.

My heartfelt condolences for the family and especially the mother and the aunt. Rest assured they might flee the justice in this world but they will never flee the justice of God. ILWIAR.
