This or that? Sparkly Subtle

It’s Diane Kruger versus herself this week! The 37-year-old has had quite the schedule at the 2014 International Berlin Film Festival. The actor attended two premieres on the same day, which is hectic by any standard. Here are both her looks.

The Galapagos Affair: Satan Came to Eden premiere

Hair and Make-up:

The star took on a daytime look with a faux crop and minimal make-up. We like the little flick on her crown, but a little lipstick never killed anybody.

Outfit: 

The German actor donned a sparkly Chanel Pre-Fall 2014 ensemble for her first premiere of the day, pairing a crisp white shirt accented with a black bow, with a collarless jacket and sheer-hemmed skirt decorated with red, white and blue embellishments. We don’t really know what to think of this get-up. We’ll let you decide.

Shoes and accessories:

Minimalistic, and rightly so. Anything other than the sparkle of Kruger’s outfit would have been way over the top. She paired a simple black clutch with black Stuart Weitzman Nudist strappy sandals. We approve of the footwear, as strappy is the way to go this season.

The Better Angels premiere

Hair and make-up:

A far cry from her look in the afternoon of the same day, Kruger’s hair is windswept and flowing, and her lips are red, red, and red! That’s more like it, a perfect transition from day to night.

Outfit:

Kruger may have taken inspiration from the title of her movie, as she really does look like an angel in this while Elie Saab pre-Fall 2014 ensemble. The star chose a completely different, minimalistic look for her second premiere and we can’t get over it. Wearing a simple, white, long-sleeve gown with an on-trend sheer skirt, Kruger is the epitome of grace. Her white leather belt pulls the whole look together.

Shoes and accessories:

While we can’t see her shoes, we love how she’s accessorized with a metallic, golden clutch to go with the golden clasp on her belt. Great attention to detail with this look, we love it!
