Wapda began with confidence but NBP’s striker Muhammad Asif scored the opening goal in the 30th minute to give his team a 1-0 lead at the interval. As Wapda failed to equalise, Asif netted the second goal in the 53rd minute to seal the win for NBP, who now stand at 11th place while Wapda lead with 37 points despite the defeat.
