KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Wednesday announced that they will stage country wide protests over their missing workers after deadline for their recovery expired, Express news Reported.

The MQM committee said that on Tuesday it had given the government 24 hours to recover 45 of their missing members. This deadline expired on Wednesday evening without any progress.

The MQM said that its protests were also against the extra judicial killing of their workers.

MQM forewarned that it will arrange sit-ins on all major roads of the city and protests in the national and provincial assemblies and will start from the Senate session scheduled for Thursday.

They have also said that they will observe not one day of mourning but of three to seven days.

People are killed by dozens every day. Yet there are some lives more valuable than the others. While there are news that the killers of Dr. Imran Farooqi are in Pakistan but nobody is worried about their arrest for killing the founding leader of MQM. When are we going to hear demands for their arrest and expose the brutal murder of MQM founding leader?
