ISLAMABAD:

The Women Police Station has booked a burqa-clad woman on charges of robbery.

Khurshid Begum lodged a complaint that an unknown woman clad in burqa came to her house and said that she had been sent by a former maid for work.

Suddenly, she pulled out a knife, put it to Khurshid’s throat and demanded to hand over cash. During this time, a water tanker stopped outside the house, which panicked the would-be robber, who then fled.
