Separate shooting incidents leave 7 dead

First incident was an exchange of heavy fire between rival groups while the second took place at a marriage ceremony.

LAHORE:

Seven people have been killed in two separate shooting incidents in Lahore.

Four people were killed when two rival groups exchanged heavy fire in Harbanspura area of Lahore.

The shooting took place between Shahid Khan and Rustam Khan groups over an old enmity.

Shahid khan, who is also the head of irrigations workers union was critically injured in the ambush while all of his companions were killed.

The second shooting incident took place at a marriage ceremony in township area of Lahore where three people succumbed to their injuries on way to hospital.

The cause behind shooting at the marriage ceremony has not yet been confirmed .
