Internal shuffle: PHC transfers 16 judicial officers
Deputed to various districts across the province.
PESHAWAR:
A total of 16 judicial officers were transferred to various districts of the province on Saturday on the orders of the Peshawar High Court’s (PHC) chief justice and other senior judges.
District and sessions judges’ posting
District and sessions judge Zafar Iqbal was transferred from the PHC and posted on the same position in Kohat, while Kohat’s district and sessions judge Inamullah Khan was transferred to Tank.
Similarly, Muhammad Azam Khan was transferred from the PHC to Haripur and will replace district and sessions judge Tariq Yousafzai who has been appointed officer on special duty (OSD) at PHC.
District and sessions judge/additional registrar administration Muhammad Farhatullah will now serve in Hangu, while district’s sessions judge Muhammad Asif was posted to the PHC.
Additional district and sessions judges’ postings
Tank’s additional district and sessions judge Hayat Gul was posted to DI Khan. Additional district and sessions judge/legal draftsperson Riffat Aamir has been posted to the PHC.
Qaiser Rahim, who also serves as director of planning and development cell, will leave PHC and head to Lower Dir as additional district and sessions judge/Izafi Zilla Qazi to fill the vacant post.
Furthermore, Judge Ashfaque Taj was posted in-charge of National Judicial Policy Implementation Cell (NJIPC) at PHC and senior civil judge/in-charge NJPIC will leave PHC for Swabi.
Civil judge-cum-magistrates Ali Gohar will move from Swabi to Nowshera, Ikramullah from Charsadda to Sheringal in Upper Dir, and serve as civil judges/Illaqa Qazis. Sanam Taj was transferred from Lower Dir to Mardan, Arshad Khan from Mardan to Lower Dir, and posted as civil judge/Illaqa Qazi. Sheringal Upper Dir’s civil judge/Illaqa Qazi will head to Charsadda as civil judge-cum-magistrate.
