Deadly dispute: Three family members gunned down

Three members of a family were allegedly gunned down following a verbal dispute in Sero Bada Khel on Saturday morning.


An official of the Saddar police said Zahidullah reported that at around 5:30am, Irfan Khan, Zaheer Khan and Farman Khan barged into their house and allegedly opened fire, killing his mother Islam Khuzara and father Raqeeb Shah, and injuring his cousin Farman Shah who succumbed to injuries on the way to a hospital.

The official said the accused managed to escape after the incident, adding Raqeeb and Zaheer had had an argument in the late hours of Friday and threatened to kill each other after which Zaheer came to his house and killed him, along with two others. The police registered a case and further investigation is under way, he added.
