Ransom: Four-year old kidnapped, kidnappers want Rs500,000

FAISALABAD:
A four-year-old was reported to have been kidnapped from Samanabad on Sunday, police said.
They said the kidnappers have demanded Rs500,000 from the family of the child.
Shakeel Siddiqui of Maqsoodabad Shehzad Chowk, said his son was playing in front of the house when he was kidnapped. He said he did not have any idea who the kidnapers were.
He said an unidentified man called him a few hours later and demanded that he be given Rs500,000 ransom. Siddiqui said police were informed.
Not satisfied with the police response, he said, the entire police force had come into action to recover the daughter of an intelligence agency official. He said he was not satisfied with the police’s response on his complaint. Station House Officer Saeed Anwar Baloch said police had started investigation. He said the child would be recovered soon.
