Hoarders Caught: 73 shopkeepers arrested

Five shopkeepers sent to jail for profiteering and hoarding.

KARACHI: The city district administration arrested 73 shopkeepers, sent five shopkeepers to jail during its campaign against profiteering and hoarding of essential commodities. It also collected a total of Rs78,000 in fines from them on Saturday. The action was taken by the district authorities in New Karachi, Gulberg, Airport, Shah Faisal, Model Colony, Garden and Gulshan-e-Iqbal.
