
A thief allegedly stabbed and killed his accomplice over the distribution of the loot, right after they robbed a bakery in G-10 Markaz on Wednesday.
The police quoted a guard as saying that two thieves entered the bakery by breaking its locks around 2pm and looted Rs6.8 million.
When they came out of the bakery, one of the thieves stabbed his accomplice with a shard of glass and tried to flee, leaving him dead on the spot. The guard overpowered the thief.
The police reached the spot and shifted the deceased, Muhammad Jamil, 22, to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences for autopsy and nabbed, Hasnain Ali, 16, into to the police station for investigation.
Jamil had been worked at the bakery for two months and had made the theft plan with Ali, a resident of F-6/1, who allegedly killed him over the distribution of the loot. Further investigations are under way.
