With 95 vacancies for the posts of gynaecologists, lady health visitors, male mobilisers and family welfare councillors open in the Population Welfare Department, family welfare councillors have to work to cover for missing employees in addition to their jobs, The Express Tribune has learnt. District Officer Adnan Ashraf said gynaecologists were not interested in this job because of “low salaries”.
