Hamza murder case: ATC grants police more time
February 6 fixed as date to supply copies of relevant papers in the Hamza Ahmed murder case.

An anti-terrorism court (ATC) fixed February 6 as the date to supply copies of relevant papers to the suspects in the Hamza Ahmed murder case, on Wednesday. The ATC-III will supply copies to the suspects under section 265-C (supply of statements and documents to accused) of the Criminal Procedure Code on the next hearing. Hamza Ahmed, a 17-year-old student, was gunned down allegedly by the security guard of another teenager, Shoaib Naveed, after they got into a heated argument outside a restaurant in Defence Housing Authority on April 27. Meanwhile, Manthar Ali Bhayo, a deputy superintendent of police, appeared before the court and requested for more time to arrest the absconding suspect. The court adjourned the case till February 6.
