Law and order: Murder suspect shot dead at Kahna police station
Police said four men scaled the police station’s wall and shot Fiaz alias Jujj Jhedu and fled.

Armed men on Monday entered Kahna police station and shot dead a murder suspect in the presence of at least four police officials.
Police said four men scaled the police station’s wall and shot Fiaz alias Jujj Jhedu and fled.
They said the policemen present took cover when shooting started.
He said that no one else was hurt in the incident. He said one of the assailants, later identified as Imtiaz, was arrested.
Police took Fiaz to a hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.
Kahna ASP Syed Qarar Shah said investigation police had called two parties in a murder case dating back to October 2013 for negotiation.
He said the talks were interrupted when the men broke in and opened fire.
The ASP said a case had been registered against Muhammad Waris and Fiaz for killing Muhammad Irfan.
He said investigation had revealed that Irfan was shot accidentally but his brother Usman was not satisfied with the findings and wanted the investigation to be started anew.
The ASP said the police station had no boundary wall around it. He said there was only a wall at the back of the police station.
An FIR had not been registered by the time this report was filed.
