Violence: Three dead in Kech district

Two people sitting inside the shop received multiple bullet wounds and died on the spot.

QUETTA: Three people, including an official of Balochistan Levies, were gunned down in two separate incidents in Kech district on Sunday. Levies official Abdul Sattar said that the constable Murad Baksh was deployed at Sarafa Bazaar when unidentified armed men tried to snatch his official rifle. He offered resistance upon which his attackers shot him dead. The attacker then fled with the rifle. “A case has been registered against the unidentified persons and investigations are under way,” said Sattar. Two people were gunned down in Dashti bazaar area of Turbat city. Police constable Inham Ahmed said assailants on a motorcycle opened fire at milk shop. Two people sitting inside the shop received multiple bullet wounds and died on the spot.
