PSDP: Commerce division gets Rs316 million

Rs262 million have been released for enhancement in exhibition halls and additional technology works.

ISLAMABAD: The government has so far released Rs316.4 million for the commerce division out of its total allocation of Rs841 million for the current fiscal year under its Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP). According to the latest data of the Ministry of Planning and Development, Rs262 million have been released for enhancement in exhibition halls and additional technology works. Similarly, Rs20 million have been released for the purchase of equipment, furnishing curriculum development and training design, where as Rs34.4 billion have been released for the restructuring of Pakistan Institute of Trade and Development (PIAD).  The government has so far released Rs141.2 billion for all development projects under PSDP against the total allocations of Rs540 billion for the fiscal year 2013-14.  The commission releases 20% of funds in the first quarter 20% in the second quarter, 30% in the third quarter and 30% in fourth quarter.
