Security arrangements: Security in place for Eid Miladun Nabi
Parliamentarians, religious leaders and civil society will be closely coordinating in this regard.
FAISALABAD:
Presiding over a meeting on Friday, Divisional Commissioner Sardar Akram Javed directed the district administrations to ensure security for a peaceful Eid Miladun Nabi. The commissioner said use of loudspeakers, wall chalking, distribution of inflammatory content and the display of weapons would not be permitted. Javed emphasised the importance of mapping all processions and rallies. Routes and timings must not be altered, he said. Important Milad gatherings and speeches would be recorded on video and audio devices. Security arrangements would be made with previous experiences in mind and additional security staff will be deployed at problematic locations. Parliamentarians, religious leaders and civil society will be closely coordinating in this regard.
