The Lahore High Court on Wednesday took notice of a newspaper report about a man set on fire in Faisalabad and directed the district and sessions judge to submit a detailed report in this regard.
Sabir Ali, 26, told police that two unidentified men abducted him and took him to an unfamiliar place where they tried to rape assault him. He said when he resisted and tried to flee, they set fire to his clothes. He said they fled after locking him in the house. He said a passer-by heard his cries and rescued him.
