KARACHI:
Firing in Shershah scrap market and the on-going target killings in Karachi, led to the partial closure of the city on Wednesday.

The Federal Urdu University, Karachi University and the Dow University had no option but to postpone their examinations after a fresh wave of fear and panic gripped the city.

The meeting of the Dow University selection board has also been postponed.

Meanwhile, Transport Association Chairman Irshad Bukhari has announced a complete strike of public transportation, as he foresees more violence today.

On the other hand, the advisor to the Sindh chief minister said all educational institutions will remain open today. However, some private schools plan to have a day off, due to the deteriorating law and order situation in the city.
