Services had been suspended to ensure security of citizens as the Chehlum of Imam Hussain (RA) was observed in different cities.

Mobile services had been shut for upto 15 hours , starting from 7 am to 10 pm in some parts of the country.

A large number of security personnel were installed at important locations, but authorities failed to prevent the occurrence of three bomb explosions which killed a total of seven people and injured at least 25.
