10 pm curfew: Govt’s reply sought on wedding hours
The Lahore High Court issued petitioned against the ban on marriage ceremonies that go on after 10pm.

The Lahore High Court on Wednesday issued notices to the government and the city administration on a petition against the ban on marriage ceremonies that go on after 10pm.
Justice Shahzada Mazhar passed the orders on the petition moved by one Rizwan Gill. Gill’s counsel said people living in far-off areas were facing problems reaching in time for ceremonies. He said marriage had cultural as well as religious signifacnce.
The petitioner requested the court to declare the ban illegal and unconstitutional.
