Settling matters: Court bailiff forgives Rangers’ officials for physical abuse

A district and sessions court directed the wing commander of the Rangers on Monday to submit an affidavit in the court containing all the details in connection with to the beating of a court bailiff by the paramilitary soldiers a few days back in New Karachi.


Imtiaz Khan, a bailiff in the district Central, was allegedly beaten by the in charge and other officials of the Rangers wing 44 for no apparent reason while he was buying fruits along with his family in a bazaar near a bus stop in New Karachi on December 9.

On Monday, the commander of the Rangers 44 wing appeared before the district and sessions judge, Central, and verbally informed that the Rangers had sought an apology from the bailiff and he has forgiven the paramilitary soldiers unconditionally.

"Rangers had sought an apology from the bailiff ", You mean forgiveness from the bailiiff, not an apology.
