SPLA warns of continuous teaching boycott until provincial government reverses notification.
HYDERABAD:
The en bloc transfers of about a quarter of the teaching staff from a government girls’ degree college sparked teachers’ protests on Thursday. The teachers, led by Sindh Professors and Lecturers Association (SPLA) divisional president Prof Shahjahan Panhwar, boycotted classes at Government Zubeda Girls College. The SPLA warned of a continuous teaching boycott until the provincial government reversed its notification.
