Child care: Children’s hospitals to be set up

The Punjab government has approved setting up children’s hospitals in all divisional headquarters hospitals. The district governments have been told to submit feasibility reports. The government also called a meeting of the district coordination officers for the estimation of funds and approval of feasibility reports. Officials said the suggestion of turning the Municipal General Hospital Sargodha into a children’s hospital was also under consideration.
