Fashion Police: Crushed Catastrophe

Bollywood stars showed up in all their finery to film-maker Vishesh Bhatt’s wedding ceremony.

Bollywood stars showed up in all their finery to film-maker Vishesh Bhatt’s wedding ceremony. Some looked breathtaking, others, not so much.

The Charge Sheet

Outfit

Rani Mukherjee’s blue and green lehenga is all wrong, in so many ways. The shirt is ill-fitted, the colour combination is too bright and oh that dreadful crushed silk! We wish she’d gone for something more form fitting to flatter her figure, and someone really needs to tell her that crushed silk is a no-go.

Hair and Make up

If Rani’s face was the only thing at this wedding, we’d be singing praise. Her soft curls and dewy skin look divine. If only she had put the same attention into her outfit.

Accessories

Why would she carry a black clutch with a blue and green outfit? We cannot seem to understand this fashion disaster. It just keeps getting worse! We’re almost glad we can’t see her shoes, who know what she could be wearing? Her bracelets and earrings do go with the traditional, ethnic theme of her lehenga but don’t stand out.

Bail out!

Soha Ali Khan

The actor looks like a dream in this hot pink number. We love the neutral sequined top paired with the hot, hot pink. It’s a little harsh on the eyes, but she pulls it off beautifully.

Shraddha Kapoor

We wonder how she must have felt when she saw Soha wearing the same colour! Ladies take note; hot pink might just turn out to be the colour of the season! We also wish Kapoor had styled her dupatta better; it’s hiding her top completely.

Sonal Chauhan

The actor looks absolutely regal in this black and golden number. A far cry from all hot pink that was seen at Bhatt’s wedding, this is our favourite pick of the night!
