Visa issues: Bilawal Bhatti denied entry into UAE

PCB has applied for a new visa for the young cricketer.

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has applied for a new visa for the young pacer Bilawal Bhatti after he was denied entry into the United Arab Emirates (UAE) due to visa issues.

According to a private news channel, 22 year-old Bilawal Bhatti had attempted to enter Dubai on his visa when returning from South Africa.

The PCB has applied for a new visa for Bhatti and made arrangements for the paceman to stay in a hotel at Dubai airport.

Pakistan is scheduled to play two Twenty-20s against Sri Lanka on December 11 and 13, while a five match one-day international series will be played from December 18 to 27.

The teams will also play a three match test series which will start from December 31.

If it is clearly an expired visa, as reported, the fault clearly lies with the individual. In fact in this case definitely PCB is reaponsible as they are people employing and arranging travels - maybe not enougj tour managers or far too busy administration!
