LANDIKOTAL: The polio vaccination drive has been postponed across Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata) and Khyber Agency till December 9 due to non availability of vaccines.  Khyber Agency surgeon Dr Samin Shinwari told The Express Tribune that polio vaccination was to be administered from Sunday (today) however the health authorities could not get the vaccine stock from Islamabad. He said 392 teams have been formed for conducting door to door vaccination in Landikotal, Jamrud, Mullagori and other areas of Bara across Khyber Agency. He said the immunisation campaign in these areas was conducted without any hindrance, adding that security forces were accompanying the polio teams in troubled areas.
