Illegal Construction: LDA razes three buildings, seals four
The director general instructed the suspended officer to report to the Administration Directorate.

Staff of the Town Planning Wing and Enforcement Directorate of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) carried out an operation in Sabazazar Housing Scheme and demolished three illegal buildings besides sealing four others on Thursday. The LDA staff demolished illegal commercial constructions on plots number 326-M and 334-P at Sabzazar and plot number 1331 at Murghazar Colony. The LDA staff also sealed buildings being used illegally for commercial purposes at plots number 167-K, 440-M, 748-N and 336-P at the Sabazazar Housing Scheme. Also on Thursday, Lahore Development Authority Director General Ahad Khan Cheema suspended Khalid Mehmood, the LDA director for commercialisation, with immediate effect, according to a press release. The director general instructed the suspended officer to report to the Administration Directorate.
