LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Wednesday issued a notice to the Film Censor Board chairman on a contempt petition for not stopping the exhibition of smuggled Indian movies in Pakistani cinemas. The case was adjourned till December 2. The petitioner's counsel submitted that the court had already directed the chairman to prohibit the exhibition of foreign movies brought illegally into the country. He said the respondent should be tried for contempt. Mubashar Luqman, the petitioner, said that Indian films were being smuggled into Pakistan and being granted licences for exhibition by the Pakistan Censor Board.
