International ties: Japan consul-general gives lecture

KARACHI: Japan consul-general Akira Ouchi delivered a lecture on ‘Bilateral Relations between Japan and Pakistan’ at the Muhammad Ali Jinnah University (Maju). Over a 100 undergraduate and postgraduate students from various disciplines attended the lecture, along with faculty members. Ouchi discussed the economic relations between the two countries as well as the political and educational situation of Japan. Maju president Prof Abdul Wahab thanked Ouchi for the insightful and comprehensive lecture.
