Killings in the city: Three men, minor girl killed

On-duty officer Muhammad Shaukat said the girl was shot once in the head.

At least four people including a minor girl were killed on Wednesday.


The four-year-old girl Amna, daughter of Naushad, was playing outside her house when she was killed during a crossfire between two groups in Lyari. On-duty officer Muhammad Shaukat said the girl was shot once in the head.

An alleged drug peddler, Haroot Khan, 45, was shot dead at Masoom Shah Colony near Kalapul. SHO Muhammad Sarwar said the deceased was killed by rival group members and the culprits killed him over suspicions of being a police informant. Umair, 24, was killed and a police constable, Amir, was wounded in firing at Orangi Town. A young man was found dead from a nullah in Liaquatabad.
