Bahawalpur province: ‘Our struggle will go on’
The BNAP chief says the performance of members of national and provincial assemblies had so far been 'disappointing.'
BAHAWALPUR:
Bahawalpur National Awami Party (BNAP) Chief Nawab Salahuddin Abbasi said on Wednesday that his party would resume its struggle for the creation of Bahawalpur province after Muharram. He said the BNAP would form an alliance with Chaudhry Tariq Bashir Cheema for the local government elections. Abbasi said the party would get votes for raising the issue of creating provinces. The BNAP chief said the performance of members of national and provincial assemblies had so far been “disappointing.” He said local government elections should be held on party-basis.
