Fire fighters managed to put out the blazes that erupted at a chemical factory in Sher Shah on Tuesday afternoon.

Fire fighters managed to put out the blazes that erupted at a chemical factory in Sher Shah on Tuesday afternoon.


According to chief fire officer Ehtishamuddin Siddiqui, the fire broke out at Neelum Industry situated at plot no. F-61-G in Sher Shah. The fire broke out in the production hall on the ground floor of the chemical factory, he said. No casualties were reported as the staff present in the factory was evacuated before the fire fighters arrived. At least 10 fire trucks had to be called in and they were trying to put out the fire for nearly two hours. The department has yet to figure out what caused the fire.
