Ever-increasing : Two new dengue cases in Swat

Two more dengue patients were identified in Swat district on Sunday. According to the district health office, this has taken the total count to 9,030. The two patients were admitted to the dengue cell of Saidu Sharif Teaching Hospital (STH), increasing the number of patients who have been registered there to 5,154. “At present, there are 14 patients hospitalized in the dengue cell, including 12 males and 2 females. Five patients were discharged after complete recovery on Sunday, said STH spokesperson Dr Wasil Ahmad Khan. He added the number of patients discharged from the hospital stands at 4,989.
