SIALKOT: Secretary of Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) Rabiya Javeri Agha said that they are making efforts to promote the trade of unconventional products such as halal meat and mangos. She said that it was heart-warming to know that Pakistani mangos were popular in Japan and Australia, while halal meat in Malaysia. She hoped this would generate a handsome profit for Pakistan. Previously the TDAP secretary discussed matters of trade with President Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), Dr Sarfraz Bashir and senior Vice President Mian Muhammad Anwar. She urged Bashir to prepare a five-year industry paper and highlight demands. Bashir understood the doubling of the quota of participation in international trade fairs, adding that the number of exporters was increasing rapidly.
