Pleasant chill brings relief to Rawalpindi
Citizens find fasting and shopping easier; welcome relief after warm spells

A noticeable drop in temperature towards the end of Ramazan has brought a welcome chill to Rawalpindi, making daily routines easier for residents, particularly those observing fasts.
The cooler conditions, reinforced by light showers over the past two days, have provided relief from earlier warm weather, with citizens reporting that fasting hours have become more manageable. Markets have also seen increased activity, as shoppers prepare for Eid in greater comfort.
Several residents said the milder weather has made moving around bazaars and completing Eid shopping far less exhausting. "The weather has turned quite pleasant, which has made fasting and shopping much easier," a shopper commented.
According to local meteorological data, temperatures currently hover around 14°C under partly cloudy skies. Forecasts suggest mild conditions will continue over the next few days, with daytime highs likely between 23°C and 26°C, while nights remain cooler, offering commuters a more comfortable Eid.
Experts note that such fluctuations are typical during the transition from winter to spring, bringing brief spells of cooler weather before temperatures gradually rise again
