Newly-elected president of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) Kamran Murtaza said on Friday the government should approach the International Court of Justice on the subject of drone attacks.
He said drone attacks were war crimes that should be stopped immediately.
Talking to newsmen at Lahore High Court premises, he said the Balochistan issue could not be resolved without addressing the issue of missing persons. He hinted at convening an all parties conference on Balochistan. He said no new appointment should be made to the superior courts till the chief justice of Pakistan retired.
He said the bar and the bench went hand-in-hand but the bar had some reservations on several issues and would announce a strategy soon.

Pakistan gov is complicit in the drone strikes that is why they have never approached any UN body so cut out the drama and why don't the so called free media expose the pak government
Dear Readers,
Dont go for rhetoric debate, ICJ can not be approached and hence cannot order anything since it lacks jurisdiction on this issue so no one is playing double games like anyone.
The newly elected SCBA president actually don't know how things work in international law, so ignore the immature comment.
International Court of Justice will order Pakistan to handover all terrorists to US and other western countries whose citizens were killed by them for prosecution if drone attacks are to be stopped. Our lawyers should not play double games just like ISI, Army and politicians.
