KARACHI: A National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) employee was gunned down at the Korangi Expressway on Thursday, while on his way with his wife and brother-in-law to a residence at Gulistan-e-Jauhar. Baloch Colony SHO Ghazanfar Kazmi told The Express Tribune that two unidentified riders attacked Nazim Shah’s car and killed him on the spot. The firing injured the deceased’s brother-in-law, Syed Jarrar Jafri, who was a retired Rangers’ inspector. The police suspected that a property feud could be the motive as litigation between the victim and another party was underway. SHO Kazmi said the police is waiting for the victim’s family to register the FIR to start investigations. Meanwhile, the deceased’s brother-in-law had requested time for legal consultation.
