Karachi affairs: Provincial govt to make ‘Korangi’ a district

The decision was made at a meeting presided over by Karachi commissioner.

Sindh government has decided to carve out a new district in Karachi.  The decision was made at a meeting presided over by Karachi commissioner on Wednesday. 


The officials of revenue department, deputy commissioners of Karachi and PPP leaders attended the meeting. There were reports that notification of the new ‘Korangi’ district has already been issued however no official confirmed the reports. “The government has decided to make a new district. The notification for it will be issued soon,” one of the deputy commissioners who attended the meeting told The Express Tribune requesting not be named.


Sources said that the new district will comprise some areas of Korangi, Landhi, Shah Faisal Colony and Gulistan-e-Jauhar and, with this development, the number of districts in Karachi will rise to six.

Fate of Karachi is being decided, and those who represent Karachi are being kept out of power or there input is being totaly ignored (MQM).

What did we Karachiites do wrong, that we deserved to have these corrupt; brainless fuedals govern us??? WHY????
