The security officers raided a hujra on a tip-off.
There was an exchange of fire between police and the suspects which lasted for an hour. However, the officers managed to subdue the attackers and arrested them.
The explosives were reportedly packed in sacks and brought to Peshawar from the tribal areas.
A case was filed against the suspects who belong to a banned outfit and came from Parachinar.

Given the deteriorating security situation in certain areas, it is easy to overlook the hard work and dedication of the Pakistani security forces. They are working night and day to counter the threat of terrorism. They continue to lay their lives down for the sake of restoring peace in the region. Things will improve if we address the root-cause of the bombs & cut down the supply part. In simple words there should be no reason left-behind with militants to get the public support in one way or the other. If govt of manages to stop Drones on General public, there is small percentage which favours them just because of Extrajudicial killing.

These innocent men will be released by courts for lack of dynamites & nuclear weapons
