The former leader of the special police team of Qambar-Shahdadkot district died after drinking poisonous liquor.
Rab Nawaz Detho, who had been working as an assistant sub-inspector, was rushed to the Chandka Medical College Hospital in Larkana early Saturday morning but was unable to make it.
Poisonous liquor has now claimed 13 lives in Larkana since Eidul Azha.
Despite the increasing death toll, only one FIR has been registered about these deaths.
