Lyari violence claims 11 lives

Twenty people including women and children injured in clashes between two armed groups.

KARACHI: Eleven people were killed and 20 others sustained injuries during clashes in Karachi’s Lyari area, Express News reported on Saturday.

The injured include children and women.

The clashes reportedly took place between two armed groups present in the area.

Rockets were also fired during the fight from both sides which are equipped with modern ammunition.

Police and Rangers officers present in the area failed to prevent the violence.

sindh should be put under Governor rule...and operation should be done under Army

before every time MQM was blamed...it seem no operation in Lyari....the Captain and sindh administration are biased...Rangers and the brave Karachi police chief are afraid ,running for their life...
