United Nations Day: ‘World needs democracy for survival’

Bilawal Bhutto said the world needs democracy, peace and tranquility for survival.

KARACHI: PPP patron-in-chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari congratulated the world on the United Nations Day and stressed the world needs to redouble its efforts to tackle increasing armed conflicts in the world besides dealing with growing issues of human rights, environment, health, and food security. Bilawal said world needs democracy, peace and tranquility for survival. “UN needs to promote democracy among all the countries it represents. This includes discouraging dictatorships and autocracies,” he added.
