Missing persons: Police to produce four men detained by Rangers

The bench headed by Justice Nadeem Akhtar, issued notices to the respondents for October 30.

The Sindh High Court ordered on Wednesday the SHOs of four police stations to produce four people allegedly detained by the Rangers.


Petitioner Sana Saud said her husband, Saud Akhtar, was taken away by the Rangers from Awami Colony. Another petitioner, Muhammad Jameel, said his father-in-law had gone missing from Ratan Talao on October 18.

Zeeshan Yaqoob said his cousin Nadir Ali had gone to the Orangi Town on October 15 but he never returned. Hussain Zaidi complained that his relative, Jahangir Ahmed, was taken into custody by the Rangers on October 17.
