Indian tennis star and former Pakistan cricket team captain Shoaib Malik’s wife Sania Mirza said she is flooded with queries about when the couple plans to have a baby, BBC Urdu reported on Wednesday.
Mirza married Malik in Hyderabad, India in 2010 amid a lot of hype surrounding the love-struck cross-border sports stars.
“You have been married for four years now, when will you give birth to a child,” Mirza quoted one of the many questions she is bombarded with.
Terming it a bizarre question to ask on social networking websites, Mirza said she is glad her mother-in-law does not inquire about baby updates.
The tennis star said she rarely visits Pakistan and stays in touch with her mother-in-law through phone calls.
Speaking about Malik, Mirza said the sportsman is very different as a husband.
“He is very patient as compared to what he is on the field,” she said.
