The fire started in one shop and spread, but was brought under control before it could cause any injuries.
According to witnesses and shopkeepers at the scene, the building has been evacuated and no one is inside.
Rescue teams arrived and made their way into the building to ensure that no one is unconscious inside due to the large amount of smoke in the building.
Unidentified people tried to rob a money exchange shop. The police arrived, thwarting their efforts. The unidentified people ran away when police resorted to aerial firing.
The windows of some shops were also broken to let out the smoke that had filled inside.
Police are cordoning off the area to remove the hundreds of spectators that had gathered outside the mall.

@sfr: Backdraft would have caused more damage.
@sfr but might have saved someone's life if caught inside...
"the windows of some shops were also broken to let out the smoke that had filled inside" ....exposing more air to fire causes it to spread faster. They probably caused even more fire damage by breaking those windows
