KESC continued with their winning streak in the Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) as they defeated Afghan FC 1-0 at the KMC Football Ground. Both teams played a goalless first-half, with KESC’s Muhammad Riaz scoring the winner in the 48th minute.
However, KESC captain Muhammad Essa Khan was not satisfied with the team’s performance. “We missed a lot of opportunities to score,” Essa told The Express Tribune. “We should’ve scored three more goals against Afghan FC.”
Meanwhile, KPT moved on to fifth place in the standings with their 2-0 win against Pak-Afghan Clearing Agency FC, as Muhammad Khan scored twice to ensure the three points for his club.
